Order tickets for the LAPS 50/50

1. Tickets

Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
2. 50/50

BC Gaming Event Licence #147948

1 for $10.00; 150 tickets
3 for $25.00; 600 tickets
8 for $50.00; 1200 tickets
20 for $100.00; 4000 tickets

The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

Maximum 50/50 payout will be $17,000.00.
3. Important Dates & Draw Information

Deadline
Final ticket sales deadline: April 27, 2024 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

Draw
Raffle draw: April 27, 2024 at 11:00:00 a.m. PDT

If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

Draw will be held at Langley Animal Protection Society, 26220 56Ave, Langley, BC V4W 1J7

The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).

All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

Winners will be posted online at https://laps.rafflenexus.com/winners on April 27, 2024.
4. Winner

Winner will be contacted by phone by the Langley Animal Protection Society.

Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Langley Animal Protection Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.
5. Privacy

Langley Animal Protection Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.
6. Complaints

Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: tristyn.macleod@lapsbc.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.
7. Delay in Draw

Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

Cause

Our mandate is to promote the physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing of companion animals in Langley. As an organization we value integrity, excellence, courage, and community in everything we do. We are a volunteer driven society, fostering volunteerism in the community which is an important factor in our success. Based at the Patti Dale Animal Shelter in Langley, our volunteers and staff use a progressive and humane approach to care for more than 1400 dogs, cats, and large animals each year. All animals that are cared for by LAPS benefit from environmental enrichment, frequent exercise, nutritious food, and industry leading medical care. Our volunteers and staff ensure that each animal has the best chance at a happy and healthy life.
